Dubrovnik will host the inaugural World Aquatics Masters Championship in the new WP4 water polo discipline from 31 August to 6 September 2026. Teams from around the world will compete on the Adriatic coast in a fast, dynamic and modern format of water polo.
WP4 is played in a 15 x 12 meter field with goals sized 250 x 80 cm. Each team consists of up to 8 players, including the goalkeeper and three field players.
The format delivers faster gameplay, continuous action, and an exciting atmosphere for both players and spectators.

All matches will be played in the sea in Mlini, approximately 10 km from Dubrovnik.
Accommodation for master teams is provided in the Astarea hotel in Mlini, due to logistical reason (transportation). In case accommodation in Mlini is fully booked, master teams will be accommodated in Valamar Lacroma and the Valamar Sunny Club in Dubrovnik, official hotels for Elite teams.
During the Championship, Organizer is providing official transportation free of charge from official accomodation to competition venue.
Organizer is not providing airport - hotel transport free of charge. Transportation booking from airport to hotel with discounted prices is available when booking accommodation via official e-mail.
Team registration opens on Monday, 25 May 2026 on the official tournament website.
Participation fee: 500 € per team
Registration deadline: 1 August 2026 or until all competition brackets are filled.
The official tournament schedule will be published after the registration deadline.
